Part of doubleshot
from the beginning.

- 1957
The original Probat UG22 was built. Its early history is believed to include Croatia.
- 2010
Refurbished by Giesen for us when we started doubleshot. The UG22 became part of our first roastery.
- 2016
Upgraded with an electronically controlled 85 kW burner from K&M, fitted with propane jets.
- 2024
Completely refurbished by Højemark in Berlin, professionally crated and never run since.
Why we’re selling
We switched to an IMF 60. The plan was to run both machines side by side in our new roastery, but work on the new space hasn’t started yet. The UG22 has been sitting for too long, and we’d love to see it roasting again.
The roaster.
And the essentials.

Destoner
Included with the machine.
Cyclone
Fully refurbished and painted by doubleshot.
Green bean loader
Included for loading the roaster.
Siemens touch panel
Touch display control panel.
Modern control, classic machine.
We used the UG22 with Artisan, connected via ModBus. Our custom Artisan features allowed full burner control, including adjustable burner step speeds. If you prefer Cropster, we’re happy to discuss the setup with you.
The electronically controlled K&M burner and newly positioned probes bring modern control to this classic roaster.
